Sewing...Pajama Pants!

This past weekend I tried my hand at making Pajama pants! I didn't think to take pictures of the process, but I got some of the finished product!

                     I decided to do a drawstring instead of elastic. It turned out really well!! They are very comfortable and so easy to make! : )

I Have a Question for y'all.......

So, Who really reads my blog posts and is interested in them?????
 If you read my posts, could you comment and let me know!? Please?
I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to keep writing or not. I might just keep writing kind of like a journal to myself if nobody really reads them. I don't know.... We'll see! : )

                Old Navy!

 Oh wow! what a question! I love food! Fajitas!!

     El salvador on a missions trip!

     Well, I don't do much of either one, but probably writing letters!

     Dutch blitz and Rummiku!

                         Watch movie's!

     I wouldn't say I'm musical, but I play the piano (although not very well) and I have a Banjo that I'm trying to learn how to play, and I'm also trying to learn to yodel!!      

 8. What was the last thing you memorized? 

                   Philippians 4:6-7!  

 9. What's your favorite book of the Bible? And why? 
               I really like Psalms and Proverbs!

10. What do you want to be when you grow up?
                  A wife and mother!!

 hmmm... Gardening, Baking, Playing with kids, Animals!

      I normally like doing just a few different down hair styles, or a pony tail!

RAIN!!!!

Tonight it Rained!!! Hannah (My sister) and I played in it, walked through puddles and got mud between our toes!! It was sooo cold! And so Fun! Rain is a good thing! I'm very thankful to the Lord for this beautiful rain! : ) Blessings!

Bible verses to share!!

Hey,Ya'll! I've been reading in Psalms recently! And I was reading today in psalm 25 and read these                                verse's that I really liked and wanted to share with ya'll!

"Shew me thy ways O Lord; Teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the   God of my salvation: On thee do I wait all day." Psalm 25:4-5 

                                                          I want this to be my prayer.  
                                                      Show me. Teach me. Lead me!
                                       That's a big leap of faith! But I want it!

Random!

I kinda wanted to dress-up and look a little bit pretty, (even though I'm just staying home and cleaning!) so, I put on this head-band  and some pretty earrings! you can't tell to well in the picture but the earrings go really good with this shirt!

I haven't done much so far today, I've read my bible, done some school, (not all of it) did a load of laundry, and organized the dirty dishes! (It looks like more dishes when their not organized!)  I need to take a shower and wash my hair sometime today. since it needs to be washed, it was just kinda gross so I but it in a bun, to get it out of the way!

This is a tan I have that is peeling! I've been putting coconut oil on it to try to stop it! It has peeled enough that I think it looks like my shoulder is kind of dirty! : )

This is of me and my sister Faith, a couple of weeks ago, we had a family movie night!! We watched "Mom's Night out" It was pretty good, and funny! My mom had seen it in theater on mother's day, with her mom and sister, but nobody else had seen it!

This is a, saving water for the garden thing I do! The tall bucket has water from our air conditioner, It gets water from the air and drips from the back and I put a bucket down there to catch it! The smaller one, I take cups of water that we would normally pour out, and put them in this bucket! We have a big barrel that I pour these in!!

 And.... Yesterday we got to baby-sit this sweet baby boy!! This is Shoshie and Declan's ( The kids we watch) baby brother! His name is Jase, and He is 8 weeks old!! It was soooo much fun to hold a little baby again! I think he is so cute!
Tomorrow, My mama, my sister's and I, will go to San Antonio to our niece's baby shower! I can't wait to see her! she is four weeks old now! :) Anyway... I have a couple blog posts that I need to finish and post, so be on the look out for those!

My precious Niece--Eden Sage Simpson!

Eden Sage Simpson was born at 1:28am august 14th, she weighed 7lb. 1 oz. and was 20 inches long!
 We went to see them (They live out of town) August 17th just 4 days after she was born! she is soo beautiful! and tiny!! I love her soo much!

Painting!

This week we painted our laundry room!

Before! Cleaning it out first! (Sorry, it's a bad picture!)

More shelf painting! We painted the whole room, but I don't have pictures of that!

Finished! Again, not very good picture. the walls are pink, the shelves are a bright white! We organized everything!

  Organized! We got the bucket things from target, for a dollar each! (Mix up actually, they were suppose to be 3 dollars each but some how we got them for a dollar each!!)

We also moved stuff around and took out a dirty clothes bucket for the girls, and got a hamper for our room!! It's soo much nicer now and easier to do things! And It was a fun and spontaneous thing to do!   Well, that's it for now!-Blessings-Rebekah

I have not posted in a little while! I've not had a whole lot to say. This last week I planted some of the early fall things in the garden! I planted squash, cucumber, zucchini, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkin, and peas! I will plant the rest of the things in late august/early September. And in less then two weeks, we have corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkin, and squash sprouts!

On Monday around 3:45ish we (Hannah, Abbie, and I) went to some friends house, (the Benavides's) to help them out. They have 10 kids (from 17 to 2 years old) and have 2 others(2 and a few months old ) living with them right now! On Monday afternoon, we did some laundry for them and then just hung-out and helped with supper and played with the kids! after supper, we did puzzles, went to a field right down the road and played in the hay, played some games, and watched part of a movie!

But I think we're going again on Monday, so maybe I can take some pictures then!  So on Tuesday we stayed there almost all day and helped do lots of laundry, and we made a bunch of cookies and banana bread for them! and just hung-out and helped out with the kids! It was all sooo much fun! And I hope we really helped them out and encouraged them! We love them!

When we came home, Shoshie and Declan ( kids we watch almost everyday) were there and Joel, ( a 7 year old boy we watch on Tuesday afternoons) was there also. so it quickly threw us back into the swing of thing! I was so tired by the end of the day!

Wednesday morning I got up pretty early ( I love early mornings!) and read my bible, to catch up on the "Bible reading challenge" 'cause I got behind a little bit while we were gone!

This sweet baby boy, fell asleep on me while we swung on the hammock, on Wednesday! I LOVE him!

And this girl, made a little bed and and then a fort, mostly by herself! and played with it for probably about 30 minutes! And that is Alot for her! it was sooo nice! It gave me time to read more of my bible! she normally wants you to help her with everything! (even if she can do it be herself)  she would every once and a while, ask "what do you think of it beta? do you like it?" and I would look up and answer, that's it! she is pretty sweet! (most of the time! haha!)
